| Perhaps we could buy magic tickets and run a competition for next season. I for one was thoroughly embarrassed by the turn out and getting domed by the Widnes fans. Our singing was shocking and no atmosphere. I cannot believe we are the nearest club to the stadium. We need to get organised for next year.

| Split between Joining Jack and Steve Prescott Foundation.
Both charities have connections with our 2 next opponents so presentations could be organized for pre-match or half time.

| The money was donated with the aim of ensuring a future for RL in Salford therefore I would suggest the best use is for projects/causes which also meet that aim.

Get someone to all the u18s teams in the area.'"
If you haven’t been picked up by a club at U18’s, chances are you’re not going to. I would much prefer we concentrated our efforts on the younger kids. .'"
My best current example of where that is wrong, is Adam Swift, who was playing 18s at Blackbrook before being picked up by Saints. It was suggested to Salford that he may be of interest to them prior to that, but they didn't want him. If I'm not mistaken, he has replaced Francis Meli in the Saints team, can tackle better than him and certainly has more pace than him. Ironically, his first match as a fledgling semi professional was against Salford U20s, which Salford won.
There are numerous others who in their mid teens have been ignored but ended up as stars in rugby league. Andy Gregory wasn't rated at that age, but had a reasonable rugby league career!

| From the Save Our Salford FB page
The final meeting of SOS was held at the stadium this week, as announced, and the final distribution was agreed.
You’ll recall that we had in excess of £30,000 pledged, but we asked people not to send the money, when it became apparent that we may be saved. Once Marwan came in to the club we then returned all the direct donations, where we could identify the donor, there was a sum a £8000 remaining when Marwan began taking over the club.
£3500 of this was used in the interim takeover period as the first team needed a physio and no funds were available, after being approached by Paul Highton, SOS agreed to pay this.
This leaves us with £4500 to distribute.
The overwhelming feedback we received was that the money should be used to help Rugby League associated causes and local amateur Rugby league clubs.
There was a healthy debate at the meeting but eventually this is what was agreed.
There are 6 amateur rugby league clubs within the boundary of the City of Salford;
Eccles
Irlam
Cadishead
Folly Lane
Langworthy
Little Hulton
It was agreed that each of these clubs would received £500 each.
It was also agreed that we should recognise the support that the club had from our neighbours, Swinton RLFC, in our darkest days and agreed that we would give a further £500 to the Swinton Supporters Trust.
The final £1000 is to be shared amongst 5 Charities that have a Salford and/or Rugby League connection;
Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in memory of Leon Walker
Joining Jack
Rugby League Cares
Steve Prescott Foundation
Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity
Each of these charities will receive £200 each.
It was acknowledged that there were numerous other charities that could have been included and many amateur clubs outside of the City of Salford that are associated with the club, but ultimately we could only spread the funds so far.
We will be contacting the recipients in the next week or so and plan to present cheques on the pitch at future home games so that the Salford fans can show their appreciation and acknowledge that we are fortunate enough to be able to do this as Marwan has secured the financial position of our club.
