| I think we've gone into every game so far this season as the "underdog", barring perhaps Widnes (I cant remember the handicap) it will be interesting to see how the players go about their business on Sunday when we go into it as the favourites.

Sorry Chico is that Carter quoting Salfords figures or is it Carter quoting Wakefields figures of £1.6m. ?

Cockayne took an early guilty plea so he should play on Sunday.

He mentioned that figure, said he had spoke to Marwan around that time, and from that found Salford would be spending around the same figure, if not a smidge more. It was said somewhat informally in a pre-season interview. I can’t recall whether it was before or after Josh Jones arrived.

| That's what I'd go with, apart from Joseph wouldn't even be in the 19.

That's what I would go with. The only thing that nags me about this selection is will it change our game plan from the way we've played previously? We've done really well with GoB at the back as that extra pivot, and with reverting back to a more traditional attacking set-up wonder whether it will stifle our attack somewhat. I know Evalds started out as a HB and I'm also sure he will be up for the task of proving his worth.
I also get a sneaky feeling that Lee will play in the halves and GoB may stay at FB. I'll trust Watsheens judgement on the day regardless.

| This is a perfect chance to give Evalds a go, if he doesn't and ends up being dropped he'll be off next year and we'll lose another upcoming talent.

Lee in the halves, Joseph hooker/acting halfback. How about Evalds hooker A H B

| But wouldn't this be stifled anyway replacing Lui with Lee in the halves.
I know we had to mix things up against Cas, but would that be the preferred option than playing Niall at the back, who knows the coaching staff know best.
