He was an embarrassment last night.
His bias is so complete you can't help but think that Sky consider this a normal part of their broadcasting.
As for the game, I thought Silverwood was okay. He missed things for both sides which is plain human error and is just part of the game. No complaints from me.

While I don't for one minute believe you are an idiot... I guess I would be agreeing with why he said it...I disagree with your statement that Silverwood was the difference. Referees are not the difference in any game. You have 80 minutes to control your own destiny. If you get it right for 80 minutes... you don't drop a ball, you don't miss a tackle, complete your sets, and everything else that goes with it... then you win the game. If you see a couple of decisions over an 80 minute period that haven't gone your way... and you lose the game... then it's simple... you haven't done enough.

| Leeds like Wire, Wigan & Saints have the extra couple of % in the big games, Its this that makes the difference, I think that 1 or 2 calls did go the way of Leeds. But Salford are definitely on the up & next season you will break into the top 8 & stay there.

What Eddie and Stevo say is irrelevant. They served their purpose in the late 90s but should have been put out to grass long ago.
On the subject of sky what is their obsession with having a Koukash cam. Every other time I looked at the big screen they was showing his reaction to an incident.

It's easy to blame the ref. There was a handful of fans near me who spent the entire game abusing Silverwood. Of course there was dubious decisions, some go in your favour some against and all passionate fans will show their emotions. But if people want to pay £20 to have a crazed obsession with every decision the officials make I think it's a shame they couldn't have enjoyed the spectacle and Salford competing with one of the top teams.

Still convinced the pass to Fages for the disallowed try wasn't forward, even rewound it three times!
Not got up to the suspected Leeds forward pass yet but thought it was fine and was just a flat pass when I saw it on the big screen in the ground.'"
Jesus mate, you need to go to specsavers
For the Salford one the bloke catching the ball was a yard in front of the player when he passed it so technically a penalty but these are never given and just instead penalised as a forward pass.
The Leeds one was probably forward as well but was more marginal as if McGuire doesn't get knocked back in the tackle on release it would have possibly looked marginal/flat at best. Could have gone either way but they are 50/50 calls. There is however no way on earth that your forward pass try was a 50/50 as it was forward all day long as the passer threw it to a man stood well in front of him.
Your team are definitely on the up and will be a force next year. Console yourself with that.
Great game to watch and one of the best if not THE best atmospheres I've heard at your new ground.

| I think we all need to take stock of what we saw last night. 12 months ago our team were bottom of the league, last night we ran IMO the best team in the league all the way coming off 3 straight wins on the bounce. The corner has finally been turned and were looking all the world like a 'top 8' team.
Granted we had a dissapointing start under Noble, our recruitment wasn't as fantastic as it perhaps could have been but credit to Koukash and Harris who have reinvigorated our season.
I thought we missed Tommy Lee big time last night, distribution and defence from Tomkins was woeful at times. Jordan Walne was fantastic, Niall Evalds got over his dropped ball to put in another great shift, Theo was dangerous and Jason Walton was brilliant. All products of out academy.
It must have been a great game for the neutral to watch on Sky, very competitive and exciting game with an excellent atmosphere.

| Hasnt been mentioned but Daryl Griffin had his best game of the season and credit to Moz as he tried to out do Peacock with Field Minutes.
Definitely on the up and terrific atmosphere from the Shed.
`Small town club culture` - alluded to earlier - yes we WERE - and now our fans need to realise that we have passed that point of departure and beginning to fly. First Class too I hope.

We didn't get the rub of the green with two decisions that resulted in two tries for Leeds. Theo's disallowed try was forward. The Maguire pass could've gone either way. Evalds although not tackled whilst in the air had a hand laid on him. To the letter of the law it's a penalty but contact was negligible anyway. Some you win. Proud of the effort the team put in. I think top 8 is gonna be a tall order now but we won't be easy beats if we do make it. Wouldn't mind another crack at Leeds actually.

I think we both need to go! Was re-watching the game pretty late and was half dozing off at points. Thought I'd give it another fresh look this morning and from the ref cam it does look like it Rapira's hands are actually facing forward. Fages was nowhere near a yard in front though when it was passed!
Anyway, pretty disappointed we didn't manage to grab at least a draw but enjoyed the game. It's a shame Chase passed the ball forward to Evalds on the final play as the kick to the corner to Johnson looked like it might have been on.
Harris' improvements to the side there to be seen again. Still the odd frustrating lapse in concentration but defensively we're probably playing as good overall as we have done in a long time.
Looking forward to Wigan away, can't see us getting anything there though.
