There is another Salford connection in the World Cup. Ex-conditioner Alex Corvo is the Aussie Squad's head conditioner. After the state of our relegated team in 2002 I was amazed to hear that news, and then even more amazed to find that since he left Salford he's been Melbourne Storm's conditioner. Maybe he's had better resources and team culture than he had at Salofrd in 2002.
