Simple question re "we want our club back": when was it ours?

Perhaps Lance Todd, Wardley Red and Cavendish Street could replace JW,HC & IW and put their money where their mouths are.

So unless you have the money to buy the club you shouldnt question the way it's run?



It could be that the whole board have acted impeccably, made wise decisions, have been unlucky and have no control over the fact that the City of Salford only has 2500 people who want to watch RL. That may all be true - but we do have the right to question it when the newly appointed coach walks, dont we?

I don't have a problem with questioning how the club is run, I do that myself as a shareholder and a supporter for many years.



I do have a problem with people who continually appear to come to life when things are not going well and make excuse's for not giving the club credit when they deserve it IE The person who when asked how he felt when we beat Bradford answered Bradford were crap.



Perhaps only 2500 want to watch Rugby League at Salford as they have been unfortunate to sit behind LT,WR and CS at some games.

I have been putting my money in for the past 20 years. Is that all you have to say ,why is Salford supporters are expected to put up or shut up? Its quite simply depressing how the club is managed, it isn't about the financial clout so take your head out of your backside .

If you have been paying for a ticket for the last twenty years, well done, but by putting in money to the degree that a couple of the board have, one for longer than twenty years,is a lot different to us getting a season ticket and they should be commended not continually sniped at on this forum and then clapped at a meeting.



At my age it's usually some medical professional who is checking my rear end, not much room for my head.



The club could be managed better than it is in some ways but if the finances aren't there in the right quantities it does affect how things are run and applies to any business not just a sporting one.

Yet you do have to wonder how it got in such a bad position in the first place. We've had a chief exec in the same position running the club day to day... he doesn't even like the product he's supposed to be marketing/managing... we haven't moved forward in 30 years... so you do have to ask how long it's going to be before things are changed and the club show some ambition rather than remain stagnant. It's correct that there are members of the board who have kept the club afloat... and for that it's appreciated... however... there are business decisions that could have been better over the years that could have prevented us from remaining in a position of one step forwards two steps back... and the main ones being that there haven't been positive changes in the personnel at the club. We have yes men running everything day to day... rock the boat and your out... and we have evidence of that to back up the argument.



There are people at the club who won't admit when they are wrong... we are a club in denial.
