depends what you define as good, there are certainly plenty watering holes around the station and the stadium.
when you come out of the station, there's the kings head to your left ,head of steam to your right ,if you walk across st george's square, (away from the george hotel ) and turn right there's a wetherspoons ( cherry tree) next to paddy power bookies those are the popular ones but plenty more in the centre of town.
towards the stadium there's the gas club which is pretty cheap,look for the big gas holder and its beside that. also as someone has mentioned there is rickys on the main leeds road and bradley mills club across from that, and the ropewalk next to the stadium, but thats likely to be very busy.
