Lime green has worked perfectly well for Canberra Raiders all these years. Won't be as bad as you think in my opinion

I prefer the retro kit of last year too. I also think a green and gold kit in the same design would be a superb away kit, green shorts with gold trim, and green and gold hooped socks. Especially with green being the original City Of Salford colour. But i'm pretty sure we had them colours in the Keith fielding era

You are right DInf we had green with a gold S on the front left breast! However, that was bottle green like the aussie shirts. I remember playing for salford school boys in the 80's under Don Preston when we wore the Green and Gold with a V design, just like the Aussie kit design. It is a touch of class and I agree would be an excellent choice for an away shirt.
