Morley's stiff arm was pure stupid and totally needless. I would be very surprised if he wasn't banned for the Wigan game. Certainly not a captains knock.



Carvell's elbow was more reckless than predmeditated and im hoping that he will get away with a warning.



If both are missing against Wigan then I think we are going to struggle to beat the pies which is such a dissappointment going into that kind of game without both of your frontline props.

It was bit like the old Morley tonight.



We could maybe cope without one both would be very tough.

I couldn't see the problem with the Morley one, so much you do is off the back of your kick pressure, if he didn't go at Sherwin I'd have been more surprised. I thought it was a penalty, at most.



Carvell I fear may get a couple of matches, I thought that was the worse of the two.

Carvell knew what he was doing, should have also seen red because it was malicious and he clearly meant to lead with the forearm, again should get at least 2.



But knowing the RFL they'll both get warning letters

We have plenty in reserve in the forward department so i'll say again not worried.

Morley's was a penalty, no more. Nowt wrong with Carvell's.

No problem with Morleys pressure, however he had enough time time to pull his stiff arm out of the way but instead caught the player full on. It probably looked worse than it was but the RFL will be keen to be seen to be doing the right thing.



Carvell could argue that his elbow was raised as protection against the defenders.



No doubt we will see what happens at the disciplinary midweek.

Didn't fatty at Saints get away with something even worst last season (Punch or something)

Had Sherwin kicked the ball as Morley and just about everyone else watching expected, then the hit would have been across Sherwins chest. Morley was commited to pressurising the kicker and the different 'body shape' after the pass made the incident look far far worse than it was. However, this early in the season I would expect Moz to have a Saturday night off next week.
