Its the old miscomprehension. There is actually no such things as "home" and "away" shirts. Each team has to provide details of a kit and an alternative kit. IF there is a clash of colours the away side will use their alternative strip. With so few colours used by SL teams there will often be a clash and hence the "alternative" strip is commonly refered to as the "away" strip (NB, A team can elect to wear there alternative strip as long as it doesnt cause a clash AT ANY TIME....yep, even at home)

As has been pointed out on here before. This season you have an "away" kit, and an "even further away" kit.

Probably so we could give stains a sporting chance - if we had worn the away kit we would have blended into the balck and white facade of smellsville and thrashed them even more

I heard Mrs Smith had forgotten to put the away socks in the dryer so we had to wear the home kit instead.
