Which is fair enough if you bin the Hudds players when they do it first time and not after talking to them 3 times..

Smith was utter dog today.

Couldn't have put it any better...

I thought at the time that it could have only been holding on a bit too long from the bit I saw but then when the card came out I thought something else must have happened.



Very harsh decision then IMO.

I don't have a problem with a ref taking an early stance to make his mark. But to then ignore other instances of the same infringement makes it worthless. We were penalised for some very dubious stuff that at other times was ignored. All we want is consistency.

Smith was either incompetent or trying to even things up. I have no problem with Riley's sin binning if Smith had applied the same punishment to both teams. He even called Hodgson over to warn the team, and then gave a penalty the next time, but no yellow card. The yellow card they did get was after he spoke to him 3 times.

And how can you knock on when facing your own posts, and the other team to be allowed to play on when they do the exact same thing.

Smith did his best to spoil a good atmosphere. And how pleasant was it to watch a game without wearing a coat?

Smith was weird at times today, actually the officials in general. The touchie must have come on 14 times - normally you can't them onto the field for love nor money.



Weird today, Warrington would lose the ball, get it back, yet he flat out refused to restart the tackle count, this happened at least twice.

Riley's indiscipline is costing us, yet another sinbinning today. The hot-headed youngster needs to calm down before he does the team some real damage. After his scrapping against Catalans and his messing around at the PTB today I think Smith needs to sort him.
