Lets get this straight. We have 3 forums belittleing the team and their performance. The ratings point is really quiet sickening really...



Let me put this straight too everyone...





Wire and leeds put on a masterclass of rugby league yesterday. We witnessed 2 of the top 4 teams in superleague battle it out at full pace for 80 minutes.



Warrington Can Now be classed in the top 4 and I can Honnestly say that any one of the top 4 can beat any one on any given day in the top 4...



The new top 4 is warrington, saints, wigan and leeds...





The match yesterday could of gone anyway and we should be proud of the performance that was given yesterday.



Instead of belittleing the performance, saying that we are still not good enough, giving crap ratings on the players. Stand up and get behind your team...







I for one am proud of the performance yesterday on a game that could of gone either way, and that had entertainment and i was sad that we had too have a winner and loser. Because the game deserved a result for both teams.

Im a Wigan fan and enjoyed the match great game great entertainment, like Wigan last week also great game. I agree with other post that on any given day .leeds saints wigan and wire can turn each over .

Correct, great game no lack of effort or commitment just some tuning issues in defensive structure for the coaching staff to address. I think the odd loss at this stage of the season may do the team a favour by increasing focus on the tough games to come.

The problem is we are only guests in the Top 4 at the minute - so far this season, Wigan have beaten Leeds, Saints & Wire; Saints have beaten Wigan, Leeds & Wire; Leeds have beaten Wigan in the Cup & Wire twice. The same problem cost us the league in 94 - inability to beat the rest of the title challengers. Until such a time as we are able to beat as often as they beat us, not just compete with, the Big 4 we are not real contenders I'm afraid...

Dont now how you can say that.

But don't we virtually have the same team that was inconsistant with cullen and lowes. And didn't that same inconsistant team in the previous seasons beat leeds and wigan.



Hasn't wigan gone a year and not beating any of the top 4. And hey, They are still top 4.

the "problem" is that we are on a roll and we think it is our right to win week-in and week-out ....... we lost yesterday fair & square (albeit with some typical inconsistent refereeing decisions, lack of goal kicking and perhaps some rush-of-blood moments aka Briers short kick-off with an 8-point cushion, Monas (??) break and off-load to nobody etc)



the loss will do us good as a reality check; expect a bounceback over next couple of weeks ....

No, it was 6 tries all & we had a masterclass in goalkicking to watch by Kevin Sinfield.



Wigan may have gone a season without beating any of the top 4 & we may have beaten Wigan and Leeds over the SL years but how many trophies have they won in that time? How many trophies have we won in SL era? 1. My point isn't that we aren't doing well, or even that yesterday's wasn't a fantastic & close match as it was & we are. My point is that to spout forward about our being a "Big 4" club is presumptious and premature at the minute...

Alas, no. It was 6 tries all. It's was Briers' uncharacteristically woeful kicking in the 1st half that cost you the game. As much as I don't like the man, I always respect his kicking ability and that was a poor showing from him in that department yesterday.
