No doubt the media witchhunters against Hock won't be satisfied until they have driven him off to another country's league, like they did to Suarez. Will they ever learn?

Surely you are not trying to defend what he did? Have you seen the video? Should get at least a ban for a year.

It does look like he deviates into the ref, long ban if found guilty.

That looks deliberate, he drops the shoulder, if he was going to avoid contact he'd put his arms out to grab the ref to stop him from falling over if he collided with him.



People are asking why he wasn't sent off, from the refs position you could perhaps think it was an accident, watching the video you can see that it's not.

He drops the shoulder and there's a bit of a deviation to ensure he makes full contact. Predicting Hock would do something stupid wasn't difficult. Mr Charnock always delivers.

Their are certain Salford related twitter pages strongly defending the guy as well, someone said that the ref actually joked about it after the game but then again, his head could have took a big knock in the collision.
