Quote ninearches="ninearches"Considering the patriotic element of the RLWC, & the BBC claiming to be the torch bearer for worldwide broadcasting , we should really expect BBC blanket coverage of the event on a par with football of both sexes ,tennis, athletics, snooker & rugby union & any other sport that is not called Rugby League !
Maybe a well timed letter to our respective MPs would help to concentrate the minds of BBC bosses.'"
Too late. All the BBC have got is; "For this year's tournament, there will be live TV and radio coverage of all England's group games, plus a quarter-final, a semi-final and the final." That makes, what(?), seven games in total? Seven out of twenty-eight...a quarter or, in other words, a joke.
Premier Sports have every one of the twenty-eight and how many people in the general public have PS? I'm guessing not many at all. So the opportunity to get our game out there to he public will not happen with this WC.
