Alibert (and more his assistants) where equally bad for both sides, (saw the Briscoe try on SL show  ) but I think its the ones right in front of you that rankle the most. Towards the end when we were really under the cosh, wire kicked through and the attacker knocked on, we then cleared it behind, this was about 2 yards in front of the in goal judge (who I've decided his only job is to pass the touch judges a bottle of water). He gives a drop out. Small decision but it would have relieved the pressure.
On the whole I'm reasonably happy with the result, just a shame when we could have held on, but if we can cut out giving head starts away it looks good for the season. |

I think all the above showed areas of poor play at Millenium. Saints looked pretty clueness apart from Roby whilst Wigan allowed a pretty clueless Saints team scrape a draw.
Leeds look ok against a poor Hull team on Friday but should have lost against Bradford the week before. I haven't had the benefit of seeing Wigan and Saints perform this weekend so cannot make an informed judgement. |
