How is it an insult ? Read again. I was merely commenting on the fact that you'd pigeon holed every single Hull fan as a trouble maker, looking for a fight, when in reality, it'll be a small minority, the rest made up of folk like you & I.

Before we start calling Hull fans hooligans, let us all see if our semi final against the pie boys passes off without any trouble. I didn't attend the last one due to my daughters christening, but heard reports of a lot of unsavoury incidents. Every club has a small number of idiotic fans, it's just that hull's turn up most weeks and ours come out for big games like semi finals and finals. Hence why we don't seem to have as bad a reputation as we had in the 80s.

Like Warringtons (and most clubs then)

lets be honest here, your reputation is poor at best. i am not allowed to stand in the west stand when you visit, there are only a handfull of teams that the club/ police enforce that policy! and it's usually due to space restrictions rather than potential for trouble.



the police presence was higher than any other visiting club

I think its a general Hull thing.



They are the nicest of people. Every time we go Hull on the coach there must be 20 or so different people (some not even rugby attached) who put a v up to welcome you to the city. Nice.

you have football fans mixing with your rugby fans going to away games with intentions of provoking home fans. iv seen it at games and also on sky.
