Only concern would be maybe match fitness with them starting a week ahead of us don't know how many friendly games they have played, if LMS is banned that will not help them.

If anyone believes in omens:
I was extremely hungover on the day we played Salford first game in 2006 and stood feeling ill, freezing cold and utterly miserable.
It's Mersey derby day on Saturday so I'm hardly likely to be sober and I get hangovers now even worse than I did then.
If history repeats itself don't say you weren't warned.
In all seriousness yes, I am concerned. They've had a game already as mentioned above so will less rusty than us and expectation will be higher than ever before. The first couple of weeks of the season are prime for unexpected results too. I *think* we'll be okay but I'll admit now that a win by any scoreline will do for me regardless of performance.

Do us all a favour than and ignore the wendyball and stick with a real sport. Seriously, we don't have a good record against Quins at the HJ and we'll be at least a bit rusty not having played to date, so I'd settle for two point even if we have to grind out a win. |
