I suspect someone had a pop at how narrow his tie was and that he took exception to it. I know people shouldn't be abusing him but if you're going to dress like a cross between Basil Fawlty and the drummer from Busted you deserve everything you get.

An appropriate course of action would therefore be to raise a complaint to Sky Sports about the behaviour of one if its employees, and to encourage others who witnessed the incident(s) to do the same.

I really would love to see Clarke follow Cantona's example one day, and actually go after these cowards, who give out threats whilst hiding in the comfort of a large crowd.

Think you have the wrong idea of the stick, plus if Clarke wasn't such a t1t than maybe he wouldnt get the abuse he got. It happens to players all the time but they dont react because they are 'professoinal' , for example we were chanting (well, not so much me, but sections of the south stand) 'you fat, ginger ########' at james graham. Childish? Maybe, but you dont see him asking people to come down offering them out do you.
