just rush out of the defensive line and get in our faces....because they had nothing else?
they couldnt even make it out of their own half without the aid of penalties or our stupid lost posession...they struggled to make 30 yards on a set of six ,we made that after 3 tackles and then still made a shocking kick on the 3rd tackle.. we made schoolboys look good. quite simply the worst performance under tony smith
we were beaten by an ordinary Huddersfield side'"

That's pretty much it. I don't for one minute think anyone has forgotten the Cup win or the effort over the season, but to put two poor performances in when it really matters hurts, both as fans, and i would hope the players are hurting over it too. I don't hold with the players look shattered business - Wigan turned it around last night quite comfortably after the heartbreak of last weekend. We turned it on 40 minutes too late tonight. |

The players getting boooed at half time was shocking.
When Smith took over we were rock bottom lost our 1st 5 games and we didnt even think we would get to Wembley. But going to to Wembley to defend our trophy against the champions Leeds was great. We manage to defend the cup for the 1st time in the clubs history. And finishing in the top 4 where we get to chances was a bonus. So i dont see why people should booo, i think we have had a excellent season.
Where would be if we didnt have Smith ?

Yeah, of course you have the right to boo. There's no law against it and nobody is going to stop you doing it. I also have the right to call you a know-nothing, Sky generation, fickle idiot and an embarrassment to the club and town. END OF!!!!!!!

one question. how does booing your team off at half time help anything? absolutely shocked and embarrassed tonight from fans to the players i could only apologise for our fickle fans. no team however bad the performance shouldn't get booed off. could've got behind the team and supported them one thing i can say to these so called fans f*ck off |

I think Tony's after game interview said it all, he didn't seem too phased by the loss and why should he or the team be, reflected on the achievements, and to be fair I think he was quite happy to bow out at this stage, relish your success, look to next season, mission acomplished this year without being greedy, onwards and upwards, "much want's more" as the saying goes, and I think you are going to get it, roll on 2011.
