| id go for a 9 darter.
however winning the challenge cup then retaining it the following season takes some doing, you got to be good to do that.

| Both very difficult really,
You cannot really comment until you have threw a dart,or potted a ball on a snooker table.
I get excited if i pot red and then a black,i would go with a 147 break in snooker just for the concentration levels alone but they are both great to watch.

| 147 by far. with a 9 darter, you practice aiming at the same thing over and over and that NEVER changes. You dont have to account for any other factor other than your own focus, whereas for a 147 you have to pick it up from possibly anywhere, allow for an unlucky kiss etc, and work out different angles for EVERY single ball.
I have come closer to a 9 darter than a 147. And that wernt too close in either tbh!

| Quote Yed="Yed"but what about a 300 in bowling ?'"
For professionals Yed it's a walk in the park. Might be tough for amateurs or novices. People like Paul Moor can hit 300 every week. I've seen it done week in, week out watching the PBA Tour.
In my opinion, a 9 dart finish is a lot more difficult than a 147 break. Yes, the 147 requires more shots, but you have more targets to aim for. With a 9 darter, you only have specific targets to aim, and they are a lot smaller than the snooker targets.
And as for Ronnie O Sullivan, I'm not even going to waste my energy talking about that tool.

| Quote Yed="Yed"a hole in one is just luck.
i'd go 147, the fact you have to think ahead, plus work out angles and speed.
I did a 12 dart finish once that's only 3 off, but my highest break is around 30 so for me 147.
but what about a 300 in bowling ?'" I know where you are coming from, but i don't see how a hole in one is classed as luck. Surely, if you are on the tee of a par 3 you are aiming for the pin and if it goes in the hole it has gone exactly where you intended. Anyway, as i have hit a 180 in darts but am crap at snooker i will say a 147 is much harder.

O'Sullivan, great player - zero class. Mind you his parents are worse.
