Patience, he is only 18. My guess is that he will probably make around 8 first team appearances this year. The coaching staff are obviously not going to risk him unnecessarily. I certainly wouldn't like to see him risked against the big Cat forwards just yet - he has plenty of time.

Seriously though, I would hope that we get to see Currie and the rest of the young lads supposedly knocking on the 'first team door', this season. Preferably in a 'controlled manner, rather than a mass inclusion before a big game, otherwise we will never know

We've had a tough start to the season with Wigan and Catalans. I can see Currie coming into contention within the coming weeks. Possibly Trent & Bennie Westwood will get time off along with Brett which will see Ratch at fullback. I personally don't like players being rested for resting sake but understand long term it's for the good of the Squad and the season.
