I completely agree.



Although Russell is doing what he does pretty well and to drop him might seem harsh, the benefits of having a full-back who plays like a half-back is my preference too.

Better to have Ratch, a good half, in the halves than to replace a capable FB with him. We're light in the halves, he's needed there.

Ha! Saints have 2 fullbacks as halfbacks, with a combined age of 65 in Hohaia and Wellens! We dream of having options at halfback

We have options yes, but no leader like Wellens is for you. That'll be the difference on Thursday.

Isn't it just great that we are entering the play-offs still without a settled halfback pairing.....

Ratch and Bridge for me. Can argue it all you want, they're the only pairing that is threatening.

Surprised Rhys Evans is named after his incident last week. We need the brightness of O'Brien & Ratchford to move us around the park.

I'm really suprised that so many people (more than one specifically) are prepared to give Myler another shot. We got away with an anonymous performance from him V Hudds, mainly thanks to a good performance from GOB, a very good one from Monas and a superb one from Harrison.



Mind you some people are going with Big Roy too, so maybe I've missed something. Oh well. I'll go with :

Wood needs to up his game or England/Ben Evans can have his spot

Ratch is not a half back IMO so Myler and GOB can fight it out for who plays with Bridge when fit,ATM GOB is winning that battle

Waterhouse gets one more week to improve or Currie/Laithwaite should start as last week he was very poor

Not sure what it is about Ormsby but I think he could cost us in a big game

I'd rest anyone who isn't 100% while Bridge is out V Saints, the likes of Trent and Wood who look average.

Do us best v Saints, although I don't advocate we take a fall v Saints, prospects there are daunting at present.

Then focus on beating the Pies and being at full strength for the play offs.
