Yes the Hearns are good at selling. I’m not interested in bigger crowds at small clubs, that will come with time if the sport becomes popular at grass roots level.



I’m not sure the Hearns should have any major control of the game or side competitions, but they should certainly be given the opportunity to promote. Especially the internationals.

Get him in quick, and get him to sort out pre-match "entertainment" at the HJ, while he's at it

I think an antidote to the predictable kick to the corner when a team is running out of tackles & ideas would be to increase the number of tackles to at least 10 to give the chance of scoring tries instead of getting within touching distance only to find you are back pedalling because the other team now has the ball. More tackles might also help the handling error situation. It's pretty poor though when the crowd are cheering the sterility of a game management kick into touch.

Hearn knows what he can do whilst the writer of this article can only guess.

None of us know...and why should he tell us either? Showing his hand then renders him useless as it can be pinched.

It's not like Hearn needs the money but he is a driven man....drive is something the RFL is lacking in buckets...all they ever did is/was follow the NRL model and eat pies...lots of them.
