Everytime I'm down that part of the world, I always use the toll road. It's a godsend.

Absolutely. It always makes me chuckle when people refuse to pay it out of principle (when they can clearly afford it).

I'm just debating whether to use the automated payment lane, or pay with someone in the toll booth, as the last two times I've used the automated system, I've flicked my money towards the pay basket..............and it's missed!

When I travel down for work I put it on my work card, and always get flustered and cock up the receipt thing, and end up leaving without it!



I always feel pressured when there are cars behind me, so generally I try and go for the quiet queue!

always use the toll myself but when i get to the end of the M6 i usually come off and go down the A14 past Kettering and use the A1 not the M1, more picturesque, more places to stop, less traffic.



25 miles further but just like the toll road it's worth it.
