I imagine next week will be a hostile takeover by the fans in attendance demanding action. Probably why sky are showing the match because they probably see it as well. Lose and there's your story. Not sure when it happened, pity because Simon served his director's apprenticeship when Peter Higham was Chairman and the club was in a different place. Learning the hard way.

A number of successful business people have thought they could manage a RL club, only to find out how difficult it is and now different it is to normal business. Whether this has influenced what is happening I don't know. Look at the top clubs, Saints, Wigan, Leeds - all long term chairman, they know the game inside out. Have we lost that ?
