Widnes are doing very well this season. How much, if any, is the Wire tie up helping out there?

Hurrell up against BMM will be some collision.

Wonder if Price might switch King to the right also.

I wondered that myself, both King and Hurrell play on the left, so as things stand Hurrell will be up against the side of BMM, Brand/Burrell and Charnley. Defensively it makes sense, but i'm not sure I like the idea of moving our combinations about to mitigate the threat of Hurrell, it would lessesn an already misfiring attack from our point of view.

Less changes the better, king and lineham are getting a nice little combo going( i note there was zero praise last week for his quick hands and combos with currie and tommy in the first half)

Looking at Gellings twitter, looks like Brand might be getting the nod tonight......

Brand is not listed in the try scoring markets at Sky Bet, but Mamo is. Not sure whether they know something we don't?

Well actually I think my call NOT to play Brand was half decent.



But it's interesting to see that those who said Brand should be given a chance have gone quiet (ish) and a new group are saying Price for 'throwing Brand to the lions'.



So Price gets criticism before the match and criticism after it.

I'm no fan of Price but he can't 'win' with fans - never mind on the pitch.



And unfortunately I just can't see any coaches winning with fans in these days of social media. Thankfully the mods manage to keep most of the comments 'clean' here which is more than can be said for Facethingy and Instachat and the like.

Brand isn’t at fault for Hurrell running over the top of him...who else had the nerve to get in front of him.

Had our team been attacking and not defending...it wouldn’t have been a issue.
