I'm more relaxed than a Rasta after 23 spliffs.



1. We're not playing our recent play-off nemesis, i.e. Leeds

2. We're in pretty decent form

3. When it gets tough, like it did in the closing 15 mins v. Hudds, we managed to "close the game out", and the most important bit





it's Wigan.

Now, I'm not saying they're scared of us, obviously they're not, but they do have a problem with us. We've had the better of them, well, since Morley's been in the team. Since 07, I get the feeling there's no fear factor anymore, whenever we've played them. Yes, we've slipped to a couple of defeats, but, we've given them a good few beatings. This breeds confidence.



I've said this many times over the last few decades, we've had great players, but, until say 2011, never a great team.

We've had o.k. coaches, but until Smith arrived, never one to get us to the "promised land".



We now have a great team and coach.

I fully expect to get home on Saturday night, poor myself an Aberlour (not great, but only £20 a bottle, atm), and toast a Wire Championship.



.......and I'm still relaxed.

I just keep remembering the sick feeling last year when Ryan Hall scored and I had to just hug my little boy and tell him that I thought we were not going to win, and I then think how I'll feel again if it's Charnley and it's happened 2 years in a row and yes, I'm a mixture of incredibly excited and terrified at once

I'm not eating properly absolutely bricking it , i was'nt this bad for the 09 challange cup final

I wasn't this bad last year, I had dreams last night we won it and I was singing 'This is our year, this is our year, just like next year, this is our year'



I woke up buzzing, but am back to bricking it now!

I'm absolutely terrified. I keep having dreams about it and we've never won! So far the score has been 2-4 and 2-6 to the Pies, so clearly my subconscious thinks it'll be a close affair.



Every interview I see or article I read gets me INCREDIBLY nervous. You'd think I was playing!

I'm not losing sleep as yet however there has been a lot more toilet visits in recent days!!

Two more sleeps ..... or two more lie downs with your eyes open all night, depending on how relaxed you are

I was nowhere near this anxious in the play offs of 2011 or 2012. I've honestly hated this season as all I've wanted was Grand Final redemption and nothing that's happened in between has mattered. The Challenge Cup games - even the semi - were a minor inconvenience that just had to be finished win or lose, and the Super League defeats were horrible stressing about how they affected our position and play off chances. The wins were just run of the mill. The two play off games so far - especially last week's - were clouded in pure nerves and panic, and this week is just one slow and arduous countdown to the blind fear I have of us losing on Saturday.



I'm not calm.

You should be because the people that matter have played the last two play-off games, and indeed the last half of the season, in a manner that suggested they are not of the same state of mind as most of here. Which is a good job really!!

I'm really concerned about what might happen to Dropkick's mental state if Wire lose on Saturday.

He's always like this.
