Thr real enigma is that Briers has never had the luxury of playing behind a consistently dominant pack, until now. Unfortunately for him, it has arrived too late taking into account his age and hamstrings.

In life, timing is everything, and Lee has been unlucky in that respect.

6 and 7 are more or less the same nowadays, Briers and Myler would be fine together, one being a runner and one beaing creative.

He moved there to accomodate Langer...and the proof....we have had the two best scrum-halfs in Oz(Langer and Johns) playing inside the best scrum-half in the UK and we still couldn't get to a final.

I never said I wouldn't play him at all....just not taking the ball in the acting half-back postion. he is simply too dam slow.

i think thay would be very creative duo but id be alittle concerd with defence. briers defence has picked up alot. but there both not the biggest of blokes and may get targeted.
