You are correct but what this means to Warrington is that this is the first time in SL or modern day rugby that the Wire have been topped the league and with such a dominent attack and defence record. Although the biggie is the grand final it will always show in our records. I'm sure Tony Smith and the players know the task ahead.



From where we have come from over the last decade this is hopefully a stepping stone to the next level to where the Warrington Wolves aspire.

To answer the question, no. You haven't won the league. The champions are crowned in October. Imagine what you felt last night and multiply it by about seven thousand. Once you win the Grand Final (This year or next IMO) you will mock the hub cap like everyone else does.

we don't win a trophy for years we win back 2 back cups but we're crap because we haven't won the league, we win the league but "it doesn't mean anything" because we haven't won the grand final ffs get over yourselves! gf or not we won the league pure and simple, regardless if we get to o/t or not

No honestly, we have won the league I can assure you. We now have to win the play off series that follows the league.



Will it feel better to win the GF, of course. Does it feel good to see my team win the regular season for the first time since 1973, yes. Does it satisfy me that we've beaten the teams in direct competition for that title home & away, yes. There's lots to feel very proud of this year and also lots left to achieve at the same time.



We've now won silverware for 3 consecutive years, that's progress for Warrington without question.
