Quote The All New Chester Wire="The All New Chester Wire"Did you see the Nick Robinson interview/profile of Alex Ferguson a couple of months back? Excellent in many ways, but relevant here was a diagram he had on a whiteboard with all the stakeholders of a football club. Of course, the fans were on there. He then went through who he, as manager, listened to and the rubber went straight over "fans" and they were gone.'"
For all his success, which I personally enjoyed btw, Alex Ferguson didn't have to listen to the fans he was in a unique position after all? Plenty of success, plenty of easy bums on seats a waiting list as it happens, no budgetary worries Oh and he didn't own or run the whole club.
On the other hand, the fiasco that we seem to have created, has used Fergie's tactics without the 'back up' and it's just wrong.
BTW even United will start listening to the fans when they start voting with their feet and shares fall, why should Warrington a club in a different 'league' appear to be complacent in this regard?
