Warrington are one of the few clubs in SL never that haven't been judged to have broken the salary cap.



I'd be extremely upset if they had been doing something illegal (re the cap) for years and only just been found out now.

Upset on 2 accounts - 1. that it wasn't found earlier and 2. that we'd done it.



To my knowelegde there is possibly an issue with image rights (Monas springs to mind) but I'm prepared to wait and see the results of the inquiry.



I really wouldn't be suprised if some of the recent signings came for slightly less than most people imagine just because of Tony Smith.



The players want to be well paid but they also want some silverware.

Any player who just goes from place to place for the money alone and doesn't care about silverware probably isn't the sort of guy most top teams want.



Just not sure what the make up of next years team could be.....

If you must know we were publicly admitting that there was a change in this alleged loophole and as we're awesome and the rfl love us and know that we do our salary cap stuff hot, we were happily working with superleague/rfl and the inland revenue to discuss and sort this out.



Cos we're a well run responsible superleague club, unlike some that cheat and moan and then weasel out of situations through legal action against the spirit of the competition.

Which is why, in the past, they have come to Warrington!
