well on the saints site it also names morley,briers and hicks in the 19-man squad so im taking it they put it on their site straight away which is two days ago. with 2 days to go to kick-off surly a top coach like tony smith will not release a starting 19 that is completly wrong?

After much consideration with regards to our possible injuries, I am now of the opinion that should Pryce not play tonight then we will win. It has not been a pleasant evening / morning mulling over the most eagerly awaited game of the season as its the first I look for when the fixtures are out.

I believe the fans will be up for it and in-turn the players will raise their game accordingly.

I think we all know that its not Tony Smiths style to divulge injury details to the press, general public or indeed our competitors. Im sure it will come out soon that Morley has a knee injury but im also sure we wont be told how serious it is or how long he will be out for. Smith will be his usual vague self and say a few weeks. My understanding is that he is a doubt for the cup semi which is only 4 weeks away.

I have noticed over the years that when ever we have our standard 'if you don't beat saints this time you never will' we tend to have a near fully fit 20 man squad but usually tend to lose one or two in the lead up to the game. I often find myself saying..."I can't see Briers out there" or things like that. Nightmere.
