He went to a shrink, he left though saying in a huff "not you as well"
All she said was "offload all you need to"

| I am playing devils advocate to a degree here but I think Paul Rauhihi's offloads might have not have looked as daft under Tony Smith. As a team we offload a lot more than we ever did in the past but more often than not they are more effective now as there is somebody alert and in the position to take them in and ship the ball out. When we have a runner now most of the team are in motion and are following up whereas in the past some of the team might have stood and watched as a player took the ball up. I think whoever is playing dummy half has a big role to play in that, I am a John Clarke fan of sorts but he is sometimes looking for the next play when the ball is offloaded, Some players are more alert to it than others.

| He never looked like the Rauhihi who played for North QLD. That one hit the line hard and
was one the dominate front rowers in the NRL at the time. Unfortunately the one we were sent never looked up for it and apart from the odd game where the NRL Rau reappeared we got a pretty raw deal imo. Off loading in impossible situations was only
one of his problems. Noticeable that TS got rid at the first opportunity despite Rau's 'offer' to stay another year.

Glad I'm not the only one who mentioned Big Pat. If we could have got him properly fit he would have been brilliant. John Fieldhouse told me Pat used to spend about 10 minutes praying before a game and got upset if he was interuppted. Can't think of anyone who would want to
upset a bloke as huge as Pat.

He couldn't half shift for a prop. Would have gived Carvell a run for his money, remembering THAT try against Stains last year

Remember him constantly following Andy Greg around the pitch knowing that he would stick him through a gap somewhere. Surprised he wasn't given a contract for the season after (85/86?).

| Kelly Shelford when he played at Loose Forward. Didn't look as good in the halves.
