3 games, 3 sodding games is all I can do next season I'm now beyond angry

My season ticket is now useless thanks a lot I can not get thurs or Fridays off ,and when sky decides to change the times and Dates of the fixtures at the end of the season , I may as well give up watching rugby league.

Yed, thats why I no longer buy a season ticket. I haven't bought one for the last decade.

Ive done probably more away games over that period than home!

Sky are doing their best to take away the family friendly side of the game with these Thursday night and Friday night games parents will be reluctant to take their kids.



For me personally my investment in a season ticket this season is going to be a waste of money..The Thursday night games will be impossible unless i take holidays....Thanks a lot SLY TV...!

Just out of interest, is this because of work, and if so what shifts do you do? There's a good mixture of Thursday, Friday and Sunday games there.

I just wonder how much of Sky's decision to go for SL Thu night games is to spite Premier Sport and their showing of Championship games on a Thu ?

Firstly I live 200 miles from HJ



Secondly I have a strange rolling shift pattern plus occasional weekend on call.



I went through my work diary and pencilled in all the fixtures, 3 games at the moment.



To make any more fixtures I have to use holidays but not just one, two.

So really it's a case of bad luck as opposed to SKY or the RFL doing anything particularly wrong?

Personally I prefer the Friday fixtures, great start to the weekend! But like some I don't work dodgy hours. Shame some people will miss out on some of the biggest games of the season but I'd still expect a good turn out for the Thursdays for those able...seem to remember uproar about the Monday fixture against Wigan and the HJ was pretty rowdy!

I think it's a little underhand by all the clubs and Sky. Sky/Clubs could easily have announced the switch to Thurs/Fri games quite some time ago. Again people will have bought season tickets assuming the pattern of live games would be the same as last year.



It's the price we pay for having the Sky money. The year after I expect a lot of Wednesday games as they've lost the Champions league coverage so they'll have to fill the slots with something!

No I have more weekends off than I do Fridays, I have one Thursday off in 16 weeks



1 in 16 Thursdays

4 in 16 Fridays

8 in 16 Saturdays

12 in 16 Sundays



Can you see now why I'm angry or you going to continue to be obtuse?
