Michael Monaghan has everything he showed it against leeds. 'Everything' in my opinion is: Accurate distribution from dummy half, then running from dummy half, at pace and at the right time. Then it's defence of the highest quality organising the defensive line and bringing down much bigger forwards one on one. Then it's organising the plays. Added bonus is a kicking game from the dummy half position. This was his weakest area but he still came up with the odd 40 20.



I don't know if Clarke has all these or is his pace getting everyone excited so no one cares if he can't kick or isnt the best pound for pound tackler in the league. ...



I haven't seen that many cas games to be honest and I certainly haven't seen him put the top of the table team on the back foot like monas did on Friday.

At a comparable age Michael Monaghan had played about 7 games for Canberra mostly from the bench, as understudy halfback for Brett Finch and Andrew McFadden.

Daryl Clarke would be a great signing, long run himself and Dwyer would be a good combination. If this does happen I think Dwyer will need a season long loan somewhere rather than sit on the bench all year. If it doesn't then we need to use next season to give Dwyer the chance alongside higham.

There was something last night on a Sky Sports feed that was him discussing his current focus being Castleford and not where he would be playing next season. No other teams where mentioned in the feed.
