28-28 with 7 seconds remaining. Wigan penalised right in front of OUR sticks for erm...handball. Briers, Myler, Westwood & Hicks all off the pitch. Up steps Carvell. 90 mtrs away. He takes the penalty. The North stand watch the ball coming closer and closer. 4 minutes later it hits the bar. It bounces up higher and higher. Then starts to fall. Slowly. And lands on the bar!!!. 5000 Wire fans start a collective 'dove from above' and the ball drops over the bar. North stand foundations start rocking under the celebrations. Which go on until 4.30am. Once the last Wire fan has safely left, the stand collapses. And brings down the other 3....

I want to hear the roof come off the away end when the team runs onto the field.
Like many posts previously I want Solomona to have a blinder after almost winning us the game last time.
Briers drop goal a la Benji Marshall from the weekend to win it in front of the home fans (i.e. from halfway, hitting the bar and going over)
I cannot wait for Friday night now!!!

A top class, close match to impress a hopefully large Sky audience. Maybe some of them will compare it to this summer's wendyball fiasco in Africa and finally realise what a real sport looks like. Would be great to win but I'll save my prayers for the play-offs as that's the time that the results really count.
