Just had a poll in the office and we reckon the Mughli or Sangam (now called Lahore Karahi I think). Rusholme isn't what it was gone a bit expensive IMO



Off piste in the Northern Quarter Al Faisal, Kabana This and That and Yagdar are cafe type places reminiscent of what Rusholme was all about back in the day great for lunch.



If you can get to the centre Bollywood is my fav' on Liverpool St top end near Deansgate much better than Akbars again IMO

Now then... what do we call these peculiar delicacies of batter and potato. really they are potato fritters but surely it is 'scollops' as 'scallops' are a bivalve mollusc, very nice when they are pan-fried in garlic.
