I love the picture of the modern train. Anything like last years exhibit from York Railway Museum and you can keep it. Blocked toilets, locked toilets, horse hair seats - aaaagh!

TBH i was shocked when i saw it pull into Bankquay last year,i expected to bump into Harry Potter,i seriously hope its good for those going on it this year.

i still remember the queues for the so called cafe thing or whatever it was called,got served just as we pulled into wembley

i know we just having a bit of fun about it,but as i said i just hope its better for those on it this year,and we need to win because journey back last year was awful,dont bear thinking about what the journy would have been like had we lost.

A friend of a friend knows a cleaner at Premier Inn and says a suprising number of people combine both.

you know, some train spotters would pay a fortune to go on one of those museum pieces!!! sadly tho thats most likely what you'll get. i dont think there are many (if at all) private charter companies that have anything other than old stock!!!

Just think though, had it been a Virgin Train it would still be delayed and possibly cancelled.

The last 80's train i remember got stopped at Wigan because of Wire fans throwing seats out of the windows.



I take it one fan must have got a spring and a load of horse hair up their backside from one of the seats and took matters into his own hands, it can't have been crowd trouble as we wasn't like that in those days.
