The Carvell high tackle looked bad in the ground, swinging arm right on the chin, anybody watched it back on TV, was it that bad?

it was a lazy challenge...no intent WHATSOEVER.



I was surprised it went on report...because Ganson had a clear sight of what happened...I don't know why he didn't deal with it there and then if it was so bad!



I think Brett took a high shot as well...it happens...without intent.

Personally wish he'd sent him off, we'd have coped and the RFL would have deemed that punishment enough

My mates a journo and spoke to Smith earlier in the week and he was pretty hopeful on Morley being fit for the first play off game. He said the op had gone very well.

intent is irrelevant, players have been picking up bans for lazy/clumsy high tackles for quite some time now and I don't see any reason why Carvell won't get a minimum 1 match ban for it. If he doesn't, then he'll be extremely fortunate.

why didn't Ganson do anything about it on the pitch then?..he had clear line of sight...if the challenge was so bad surely he should have been sent off.

Don't ask me mate, I'm only basing my expectations of a ban on the precedent set by the disciplinary for the past couple of years. If he's not called to the disciplinary, I'll be relieved. If he is called to it, I won't be surprised.
