Tragic news, if true (been unable to find official confirmation anywhere). My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
Not the best player to ever pull on a Leigh shirt, but he left his mark on Leigh RL history by scoring the winning try in the 2006 Northern Rail Cup final v Hull KR.

Was in the Swinton team that won Ch1 this season and was only presented with the league trophy yesterday.
