I have got someone interested who came to the Fax match and are now coming on Sunday

Its a good idea and am glad the club are trying new ideas i just think that with the present financial climate people won't come to watch us with their spare cash, i am picking games this season unfortunatley but thats just the way it is for many people

That's why this idea is so good - yet simple. I know during the summer I will miss a few games so if I fetch 'BOB' to one of the earlier games the club hasn't actually lost out on any revenue. In the current climate others just won't be able to afford to go to every game - but for the ones they do go to if they fetch 'BOB' the club is still getting the same money.



Getting it advertised in the local papers is the right way to go about - get new people to the Sports Village watching a team playing good rugby and they might carry on going every week or fetch another 'BOB' and you a have a snowball effect and the clubs revenues are increasing rather than staying steady.

Im not being negative but this has been done before, bring a friend. We should be doing a league match ticket book for 10 and a free voucher in it to bring a friend for free.

Why do so many people revert to we should be doing this or that rather than just trying to get behind an initiative? More so one which is painstakingly obvious.



Of course we need more ideas coming in & maybe some which are a bit more groundbreaking than this, however Trevor's door is open to anybody with any ideas which might take the club forward and in particular increase the income streams coming in.

Who's to say that won't be happening anyway? And would that offer be available to people who have paid out for the full season already?



This is all just a case of everyone talking up the club and suggesting to people to start coming to games - we all know x amount of people who always ask how we're going on, so it's time to give them a little nudge in the right direction as I'm sure once they've been to one game then they will be back again.

Lynda - I'd have to take issue with you there. I would suggest that it's being done in a more organised, high profile way, this time, with the active backing of a successful businessman/director, where previously we haven't been able to throw much resource at it.
