Press blackout, are they hiding something or do they just want to surprise and shock with their plans for spending their way out of the championship.

The chuck loadsa cash at it thing is an innovative new idea.



I hope, for the Featherstone's clubs sake, that they aren't spending money that doesn't exist or will be owed.

lol. Not sure what to make of it myself to be honest.



To be fair though, we have scrimped and saved stayed and remained self sufficient, while putting out a winning team for 4 years and its got us Feck all.



So if it all comes off and we do buy our way out of the championship then so be it. Just worried what happens if we dont

It'll be funny if you annoy Koukash by snapping up all the old RL lags before he gets a chance!

Yeah, we have gone from setting on Bastian with a view of building youth to play and sell, keeping us going for years. To hey let throw a bucket of cash at it.



If we buy the better young talent on the fringe of SL then great. Hope we dont start buying hasbeens.

I hope it's not a smoke and mirrors job - I do worry for Fev as a club because the development potential for the land there has a tendency to attract business sharks who want their piece of the action.



Hopefully everyone involved is of honest intentions.

Fev are a great community club with passionate fans, I hope this is good news for those who have lived the dream for many decades and not the Type who seized our assets on their ambitions

Looking at the game on LCTV the new stand looks excellent. A good bit of planning. What I hope is that they have got investors who are developers and can see value of delivering a fantastic stadium and then developing the surrounding land into something like we have. But not at the cost of trashing the RL club. There are people out there who have those interests at heart. A great community Featherstone.

Anonymous always puzzles me,unless one has links to a big supermarket or a house building company

I think they need to use some of their new investment to employ someone to write their press statements for them - that one is atrocious.





I think the fact that the new investors want to stay anonymous is very suspicious. I was thinking it could have possibly have been Mandy Koukash but have they ever done anything anonymous????



To me, it seems like they've got a bit of a panic on, I mean what sort of statement is this "Rightfully or wrongfully at the start of the season the club had made the decision to strike at the end of the season to prepare a Super League strength squad to compete next season." Do they seriously expect people to believe that it's all part of the master plan?



As far as I can see, they're just copying what we've already done by extending the contracts of key players.....and they've made a press statement to say they won't be making any press statements "Unlike some" (For that read Leigh). And what sort of player do they expect to get at this time of year???



I hope both the veiled and open references to Leigh, serve to make both our Board and our boys even more determined to smash this league and show Featherstone and all it's new investors that WE ARE LEIGH!!



OK we might not have won anything...yet - but at least we're not playing catch up!!
