Why dont you make it easier to buy tickets on the day just before KO. I took my grandchildren with me to the match on Sunday and was in the line for tickets for what seemed and eternity. Must have been 15min. Its like this every game. I bet it has turned many people away because they are fed up of buying their tickets days in advance. Why cant we just pay on the bloody door. IM wants bigger crowds well he needs to sort this first. I wouldnt mind waiting in line if we had 75,000 there every week but we cant cope with 1800. Imagine if we got in super league and we got 6000 on.....

Yeah and how many people who go to watch Man Utd for example buy tickets on the day... you have to go them days or weeks in advance.



If people do want to come on the day they're simply going to have to turn up earlier on match days to get their tickets. If it's happened to someone once then I'd have thought they would know to turn up earlier in the future if this is the way they want/have to buy tickets.



Btw we did get into SL and we handled it then... I'd have thought it's common sense more than anything else.

We are only talking about 1800 people max there shouldnt be massive lines for that. People miss the KO because of it. Some people do not want to get into the stadium for 2pm they get there closer to KO. Away supporters struggle too.



Oh and Im talking about the LSV......

Nik you have started a thread that has been covered more times than I can remember and there is never ever a satisfactory answer to the question of a cash gate. The only people who can answer and alter this is the LSV management. When we had the friendlies there was a cash turnstile and it worked fine. Wether its due to security for the money taken or crowd safety or whatever I don't know. The one thing that is for sure is it is out of the clubs hands. All the club can do is ask the questions but it's all down to the LSV. What is rubbish about it all this is that Leigh Centurions and their ticketing staff seem to get all the flack for this problem very unfairly in my opinion.

Folk do not like queing and wether anyone likes it or not why would anyone want to be in the LSV 40 minutes before kick off when the beer is pasteurised and over priced, food is also too expensive.



This is not a dig at the people who have to print off the tickets on matchdays. It is a fact. Everything has to be done through machines which quite frankly are hardly instantantaneous and that is being kind.



Tickets, if it has to be all ticket should be available in the town centre. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the LSV from the Bus station and 15 minutes back.That is one reason in particular why casuals will not take the trouble.



Not everyone can afford a season ticket despite them representing very good value. Pay on the gate would be quicker and although it might not be the future just yet

we are a society which in the main acts on impulse.



Our regular fans will always be regular fans and even when we were in Superleague ticket only impacted on attendances that season in my view despite the regular thrashings we had to endure.

If there had been a family bar once your inside the ground with decent prices then queing would'nt have been a problem and by bar i mean a room

If thats your answer then your being very naive about the crowd that we need to be attracting that turn up on the last minute after going to the pub. So if this is the case you and IM should stop wishing for bigger crowds and be happy with the current crowds we are getting.

Isn't there queues at the turnstiles when it was cash at HP and people was supposedly boogering off then too - even tho they arrive 5 mins b4 KO.

As already said get there earlier. We aren't a town of yokels - if other clubs and towns can manage to have all ticket venues then surely we can put 1+1 together and work out best time to go or buy in advance etc

Personally I don't mind either way as we need more people to come and if it means a cash turnstille then give it a try but only have this as a last minuite thing and only open it 10mins before kickoff and 15 mins after. Also just have it at the north stand so it is only there to alleviate any congestion at the ticket office.

The other thing is that a mate of mine doesn't go anymore just because we raised the price to £14 for a Wire game at HP. Some people just need any excuse not to go.

You know what would happen then though? You are just encouraging people to arrive late again for that 1 turnstile and more complaints.
