It's reported in the M.E.N that we could be poised to sign Ryan brierley due to the clubs sudden injury crisis, so Leigh fans think he can make the step up? Looks good for you lot.

Here we go again ..Ryan is happy at leigh why would he want to join dad's army .. we will be playing Salford next year anyway .

Club he supported as a kid, class facilities, real full time training, better money etc etc.



I would hate to see him leave the club but putting aside all these romantic notions of getting Leigh to Super League I think he would be mad not to go to Salford. The MEN is not the most reliable of sources though having said that.

Fages (who I thought went really well against Widnes) and Smith are a good pairing at HB and Chase not out for that long so not sure they need to look at halves anyway.



This speculation has risen from an off the cuff comment by "Doctor Who" on twitter the other night when he said he would have to have Ryan watched.

I told Marwan on the other night he allegedly bid 1m for Sam so the starting price for Ryan is 1.1m





I'm sure Paul and Derek will listen to offered upwards of that.

He's got the potential to do very well in Super League....but not yet. Moving up too early can ruin a kid.

Spot on Matt, he's developing nicely and Paul Rowley is overseeing that development.



There is a mutual respect between Ryan and Paul and I believe Ryan's family trust Paul and our Board to not only do the right thing by Leigh Centurions but also what's best for the lad himself.



He will be part of a record breaking team and break lots of records this year and going into next season will be part of a full time team pushing for SL.



The future is bright at Leigh and we are a bigger club than Salford, Ryan can do better Wigan, Wire and Saints are not beyond this boys abilities in the future IMO if he continues to listen and learn and develop his skills in the way he is doing.

Oh Andy you do disappoint me, why would Ryan want to think of going to to any other club in the future when you and the board have given us fans the confidence to think we will be in the top flight. I am not just dreaming now i think it's possible.We can only grow from this point and surely the likes of Ryan and the other boys can see how seriously good we can become, I know we fans can.

Personally I am more worried about an SL club coming in for Paul than Ryan. If Ryan does get snapped up we have cover in his position.
