When he says certain players were thuggish he must be referring to his own scrum half and his 'tackle' on Sam Barlow.

They must have all got together to present this unified work of fiction I suppose. Naughty little scamps.

Watched SL Fulltime last night on Sky and James Lowes looked like a man under pressure. He didn't look well at all.

"Stand-off Gaskell said: "It was a bit disappointing after the first half went so well. But I think in the second half we got dragged into their game, which we expected – but not as much as that. "



1st half was the one with 5 yellow cards and far more penalties plus a mass brawl (started by Williams). He thought that half 'went so well'.



2nd half was one yellow card (for Bradford) and no fighting and significantly less penalties.



So if the 2nd half was 'our game' then i'm happy with that. It was the much cleaner half and the one were we played some great rugby and won 30 - 4.



A compliment really from Mr Gaskell

So did Gaskell, Lowes and Walker get together privately to agree that they would each lie about the level of niggle Leigh brought to the game? Or is it more of a club wide thing and we can expect others to come forward with this fiction?

What did you expect them to say? They are aiming their thoughts (excuses) at their own fans not ours.

It's just the delusions of bitter losers. They've got a long time to sit on this result before they get the chance to make amends.

Translated means :

'Lets try and deflect attention from the fact that we got beaten on Match day 1 and hopefully if we carry on saying how tough it was our fans will hopefully not remember our spectacular collapse in the second half and the way we threw away such a big lead'.



Could backfire as.............

A) The Bradford fans I suspect aren't that gullible these days after everything they have been through in the last 3 seasons and

B) Even though its nonsense I'm sure more than a handful of Championship coaches will note that if Bradford are 'ruffled' they are capable of throwing a huge lead away.

The sheer cheek of having an opinion about a game he played in a day after it happened.



You were terrible in the first half. There was niggle. Bradford allowed themselves to get sucked in whilst Leigh worked the opportunities presented to them well.



Is that really so controversial and insulting? There were similar opinions from Leigh fans on this very forum on the evening of the game.

With respect, if you want to voice this sort of pap I'd recommend going back on your own forum. You are blinkered beyond belief. And bitter. And possibly a joke.

So during that spell when we were terrible and there was niggle, is that when Bradford got sucked in? Did well to get a 20-6 lead.



What was their complaints about the second half.
