This is probably common knowledge; but where is Bob Beswick? Arguably my player of the season last year and made one hell of a partnership with Mickey H at hooker... in my opinion its one of our weakest areas going into the middle 8's, I'm not convinced with Hood and we can't be messing about with Ridyard/Reynolds at hooker against super league teams.

Would be surprised if he played for Leigh again. Looks like he's Toronto bound at the end of the season.
Thought Hood had the 2nd hooker spot sealed after the games against London and Halifax. Not sure why he hasn't featured in the last two games?

IMO he decided he wasn't playing again after Rowley left and came up with a sick note, could be wrong though he may really have a career threatening one

Mo , I heard he wanted to go to Wigan to cover for Mcillorum ,Leigh asked for a fee ,Wigan refused to pay one, Bob then refused to play again and has signed for the Canadian Dollar, I don't know how true this is, but it was what I was told. |

Toronto Ratpack have, as well as removing the mocking links that I posted last week, tidied up their Wikipedia page ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toronto ... _transfers ). Slightly more factual. Riddy's name is no longer there but neither is Beswick's. Seemingly only four players aboard. Scrum does away with second rowers and the loose forward actually becomes loose again, ref puts the ball in? Since it would probably be straightish, they are in need of a genuine hooker. I'm therefore convinced that they would have strumpeted his signature if they had it. Brierley would certainly have tweeted his congrats if only for Rowls's benefit. |

Surprised the club have not fined him for refusing to play for us if that's true. |

In my opinion, his career went into decline when John Roddy left. Wasn't it John who constanttly exhorted us to 'Fetch Bob', or 'Bring Bob'?
