I know it's a bit late for this year but for future years I would love some friendlies over the Christmas/New Year period for the long distance Leythers who are home for the break.



I was hoping to be home for the Bradford match in Feb but doesn't look likely anymore. Was hoping for some pre-season action over Christmas. Everybody loves a boxing day friendly!

I missed two games home and away last season so if that's only coming out for the big games then that's me..All that I am saying is we need to be testing ourselves and I don't think NWC will do that and can you really see the crowds coming out on a cold January Sunday for this one don't think so.

We need to be getting match fit and not getting injuries before the season starts. Wigan will be a good enough test.

Wouldn't want to be giving anything away against teams who we may be playing in the 'League of Eight' next season. (i.e. Widnes, Salford etc.) Or it could be that they are frightened of playing us and getting beaten so early in proceedings.





However, if it meant having a season like last season, after losing all our 'friendly' games, then bring on the big boys again!!

It'll be good to get North Wales back to the LSV; they must have some of the nicest fans of any club. Also want to see how our new signings get on and how much better we are full time. I'll be there.

Every supporter who can attend should be there to show the BOM and players how much there efforts are appreciated !

I will be there , cant wait for the Wigan game , hopefully a decent crowd , I know a few Wiganers are looking forward to it , and it gives PR a good idea of what his first choice 17 will be , as some have stated their opinions .

Hope everyone had a good Christmas but now that's done it's time to start really looking forward to the friendlies. I'll be there for all of them, but just wondering if the club's going to offer a bit of a discount, like they've done in the past, if you buy tickets to all the friendlies. Might be worth doing, especially as we've got 5 of them. Might be better for Maden's testimonial if it's made worthwhile to buy a ticket for it even if people are unsure about going out to a midweek game.
