Don't disagree Fred, but I think the Batley backs had a much better platform to work from than whoever found themselves playing in our halves.

Notice most scrum halves defend out on the wing when team not in possession. Like I said Matt it was in the halves where we were 'beaten' I think you'll find it was the stand off who had the better game Moore isn't a creator as such where as Handforth is one of if not the best around at his 'craft'.

Nanyn only played half a game and for me played his normal type of game, you have to get the ball in his hands in the opponents 20 and we couldnt get there at all and when we did we cocked it up.

Don't forget not only did we play badly but Batley played exceptionally well, they will have to back that up, and as for us well that depends on the team and if they want it.

Have to disagree with that FP....went to the game and Moore was head and shoulders better than handforth, as also all todays press states that as well. To be fair the other Batley games I have seen this season those two players have been the stand out's. Looking forward to seeing the game on TV Thursday night, and although Im sure it will be a much closer game, the outcome will depend on whether Handforth and Moore are allowed to control the game.

Well having watched the game now three times and seen Handforth directing his troops around like Napoleon whilst Moore's short kicking game was a revalation his contribution to 'controlling the game' wasn't as effective as Handforth. I do think I have a small advantage.
