| well i have been a advocate of stanton, but aftr watching him on thurs, well me mum could of tackled better, i'm not joking she could, he was shocking, was done for size, not his fault, but was done for pace on the outside, and did not help havinbg mcgraff as his centre.

Mort was given a chance in the first team at Batley a couple of weeks ago and he was dreadful. TBF though he wasn't the only one that day. As for Morrison, I'm sorry but for now personally I would select Ricky Bibey over Mike Morrison everyday of the week.
That's just my view. It's all about opinions.

| Say what you like but we conceded 18 points in the first 20 minutes of each half at Fev at Bibey was on the pitch at the beginning of each half. I'm not saying he was the only player at fault but I can't see what he's doing for the team, very few yards and very poor tackling.
Morrison runs the ball hard and straight and isn't looking to get rid of it before the tackle has even been made. I'm sorry but 3 times we've signed this guy and I can't see he's any better now than he was first time around.

| Bibey has been one of our top performers in recent weeks, his brainfart on Thursday apart.
Can't understand why Alstead isn't in the side unless he is carrying an injury.

I wouldn't call it a brainfart - more of a case of lazy players not doing their jobs and backing up. It must be easier for a prop to tuck the ball under his arm and run head down into the tacklers than to stay upright, release your arms and keep the ball alive. Not one player within yards of Ricky - that is scandalous - every runner should have players in support even if it's just to regather a loose ball. Do we want to return to the heads down and make 5 mtrs or do we want to keep the ball alive - I know which I would rather watch. Saints have offloaded like that for years but they have always had support - we can't fault Saints style can we? Ricky had a split second to decide wether or not to pass, he had commited a couple of players so a couple of quick passes could have found a gap - we are not quick enough are we.

| Last season Armistead used to throw out lots of those types off "offloads" he does not do that this season though. Bibey made an error I forgive him......bet he is dead chuffed about that.

| We have players like Bibey and Armitstead in particular who like to keep the ball alive and I thought Bibey was unlucky, he took the wrong option in offloading, however, there should have been more 'push' from the players around him and they should have looked lively, McConnel was rooted to spot and wasn't expecting it, if he was on his toes and alive the outcome may have been different.
I was going to say, at least he offloaded in the right area of the pitch but that doesn't matter when we've got players slow in mind and body. The players should know the likeliness of an offload is higher when Bibey or Armitstead have the ball, they just have to offload at the right times in the right places but their team mates must expect it and be alive to it, we just lack that sort of smartness throughout our team.

Tommy Martyn used to say that was the biggest shock to him, when he arrived from Saints - players not being there to back up. He reckoned he never had to look when he offloaded at Saints - he knew that there would always be a couple of players, at least, in support. Mind you, we are talking about the difference between the top of SL, and our part-time competition!

| Even if there was a player stood half a yard behind Bibey, it was such a dreadful offload that they wouldn't have got it anyroad - the trajectory was completely wrong for any supporting player as it just flew high in to the air. Like I said though, he's been a top performer apart from that costly error.
