Like the NRL. Whereby they can focus their efforts at the on-field product, as opposed to working from a scarcity mindset of what may happen at the end of the year -- in one game. Nah, couldn't possibly work. Tony Smith may have a point though. |

Never mentioned licences.
I think I must be in minority about the league splitting up for qualifiers and super 8's.
I just think its overly complicated. Plus having fought our way to SL we are now in a half way house league of being outside SL. |

I think it would be fairer to say everyone preferred the system to a closed shop system.
I personally would prefer a 14 team SL, with promotion, demotion decided by a home and away playoff game between the top champ team and the bottom SL team.
I would also like to see the top 8 SL teams go into a straight knockout comp at the end of the season to decide a Grand Final champ. |
