How many of those involved in the financial disaster are going to be on the BOD, has the new broom not been as efficient as it was first thought?

I can't understand why these rumours are bring given such credence.



I'm sure the club will inform us in due course of any changes to governance at the club, and we as fans can take it from there.



Trying to figure out if we like the changes when we're not even sure if they go beyond a change of Chairman seems like a waste of energy, all whilst generating negativity around the club.



If people want to keep up the gossiping then that's fine with me, but I really don't understand it.

Something has 'gone off' in the boardroom. The chairman has gone and other directors are not happy with a recent turn of events. That is a fact.



Supporters are rightly concerned and an unofficial fans forum is the outlet for fans to discuss it all. The reason people are showing concern is not because we are losing or in financial difficulty. It is because we have come so far and the ultimate goal is within sight, it would be a travesty to see it all undone now on the back of a power struggle. Nothing was broke as far as I could see, it didn't need fixing. The structure was working so well.



We were all in this together.

Aside from the Chairman going, can you provide any evidence of any of the rest of your statement being fact?

To be honest it doesn't concern me so I'm not worrying about it, I'll just support my team tommorrow as usual .

They aren't rumours, they're fact. I don't do rumours and wouldn't post it if I didn't know it to be true.

I'm a bit confused.

I thought some of the people on here posting with different user names are part of the BOM or have I got that wrong ?



I've often noticed ego's get involved with business and successful sports clubs so its not unusual to have jockeying for position or fallouts behind closed doors and whilst things are currently great and going well I think we all need a little reminder.



- We've won nothing yet.

- We've achieved nothing yet.



If we get it wrong (and by 'we' I mean the collective ,the BOM who currently run the club, the fans who currently support the club, the players and staff who work for the club, as that's what being in this together really means) we will go back years.



The chairmen has gone , for now I respectfully suggest the guys running our club sort matters out in a boardroom and keep the easy to suss out user names silent on message boards as it can be damaging (even if its not meant that way).



I've every confidence in what is going on and the team running our club but heads maybe need cracking to keep focus, Leigh is a professional Sports club with ambition not yet achieved - lets ensure for once at Leigh Centurions that ambition is achieved, to do that we ALL have a part to play.

The rest of my statement refers to directors not being happy.



Ask one of the directors outright as I did. Another director Andy has referred on here to 'factors' that would prevent him being Chairman.



Not that I wish to speak for Andy ( I have not spoke to him) but as you read his posts on here as I do, he don't sound happy with events of late. Of course that may just be because he fancied fish and chips for tea last night and his local chippy was shut





But I seriously doubt it.

I don't post very post very often but I just can't believe all the negative posts and the different versions of events which have gone on or supposed to be going on with ourBOM .why can't some folk just let BOM sort things out instead of putting 2&2 together making 5 . The players don't need this distraction so let's get behind them tmw and for the remainder iof the season. We are in this together and I have complete faith in the BOM .

As long as they have their best interest in the club I don't give a rats ar5e who controls the club.

I am concerned that there seems to be an "old school" element returning to the BOM however. The club was in the deep stuff only a season ago and the last regime were unable or unwilling to save us. The impetus that this new BOM has given the club has been great, it would be tragic if in house politics reverted back to how it was.

I haven't been on this site since the start of the season I have been happy the way the team has been playing and what they have achieved

I have watched with interest the way this board has performed they have up to now done what they said

John Roddy first came to Leigh when he joined the PSG under T.B leadership

He was the first director to resign under the old management then joined the new team

As Mish as mentioned the power struggle as now started to take its toll J.R being the first to go and won't be the last (Alan resigned his post doing the program)

As I now see it to many board members can't wait to flex their muscles

And let's not forget some of this present board got us very close to relegation not that very long ago

The board need to be open and honest with the fans stop blowing their own trumpets and make sure we top the league

What they have achieved up to now is great but let's keep focused
